The Road Development Authority (RDA) is urging drivers to exercise caution on highways due to ongoing showery weather conditions.

P. C. Gunasinghe, Deputy Director General of the Expressway Operation, Maintenance and Management Division, advised motorists to adhere to a maximum speed limit of 60 kilometers per hour to ensure safety while traveling.
The RDA says that reduced visibility and wet road surfaces may pose increased risks for drivers during this period.
