The Election Commission said that official polling cards for the 2024 Parliamentary Elections will begin distribution tomorrow. These cards will be handed over to the postal service on October 26.

Postal voting is scheduled to start on October 30. In preparation for the elections, a draw to allocate television and radio airtime for political parties and independent groups will take place today at the Colombo District Secretariat.
The Election Commission has invited the secretaries of recognized political parties and leaders of independent groups who have submitted nominations to attend this event.
