The Election Commission will announce the maximum expenditure limits for candidates and political parties during parliamentary elections today via a gazette notification.

The Commission received proposals from political party secretaries yesterday, along with submissions from independent groups regarding election-related expenses.

These proposals will be reviewed today, and the corresponding gazette notification will be issued in compliance with the Regulation of Election Expenditure Act.
