The Sri Lanka Navy reported the detention of 413 Indian fishermen for illegal fishing activities within its territorial waters this year.

55 fishing vessels have been seized and are undergoing legal proceedings.

Yesterday, 11 Indian fishermen were arrested for unauthorized fishing.
