President Ranil Wickremesinghe sought the blessings of the Chief Prelates of the Malwathu and Asgiri Chapters yesterday (21).
At the Malwathu Maha Viharaya, he paid his respects to Most Ven. Thibbatuwawe Sri Sumangala Nayaka Thera and engaged in discussions, accompanied by Most Venerable Dimbulkumbure Vimaladhamma Thera. Later, at the Asgiri Maha Viharaya, he met with Most Ven. Warakagoda Sri Gnanarathana Thera.
The Maha Sangha, led by Ven. Murundeniye Dhammarathana Thera, chanted Seth Pirith and blessed the President. Kandy District Secretary Chandana Thennakoon was also present.
