In a shocking incident that has sparked outrage among parents and the local community, the principal of a school in Nawalapitiya is facing severe scrutiny after allegedly forcing seven students to consume polythene wrappers used to pack their lunches.

According to reports, the children had brought their lunches to school wrapped in a combination of polythene and paper. The principal reportedly observed the students repacking the used polythene and paper back into their bags after having their meals. Outraged by their actions, the principal allegedly took a drastic and harmful approach, compelling the students to eat the polythene wrappers.
