TNA MPs Cause Uproar in Parliament Over Batticaloa Pasture Land Issue: Pilleyan Attempts to Shout Rasamanikkam Down

The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) caused a stir in Parliament today as they raised a pressing matter concerning pasture land in Batticaloa.

The situation escalated due to the absence of a response from the Government, with no responsible minister present to address the question raised. Tensions flared further as MP Pillayan and others attempted to drown out Shanakiyan Rasamanikkam, the parliamentarian who initially brought the issue to the floor.

The issue surrounding pasture land in Batticaloa has been a source of concern and contention, and it reached a boiling point within the hallowed halls of Parliament. Shanakiyan Rasamanikkam, a vocal advocate for addressing the matter, took the floor to highlight the pressing issues facing the local community.

However, the absence of a government representative capable of responding to the concerns raised by Rasamanikkam and the TNA members only served to exacerbate the situation. With no answers forthcoming, the frustration of the TNA MPs grew evident, leading to an impassioned protest in the aisle of the House.
