Litro Gas Lanka, a leading provider of domestic Liquefied Petroleum (LP) gas cylinders in Sri Lanka, has announced a price hike for its products. The decision, aimed at reflecting current global market conditions, was unveiled during a special press briefing held at the Litro Head Office in Colombo.

Litro Gas Chairman Muditha Peiris revealed that the revised prices would take effect from midnight on October 4, 2023. The price adjustments are as follows:

• The 12.5kg cylinder will increase by Rs. 343, resulting in a new price of Rs. 3,470.
• The 5kg cylinder will experience a Rs. 137 increase, leading to a new price of Rs. 1,393.
• The 2.3kg cylinder will see a Rs. 63 hike leading to a new price of Rs. 650.
