Mohamed Uvais Mohamed, who held the positions of Chairman at both the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) and Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Limited (CPSTL), has announced his resignation.
The news of Mr. Uvais's departure was shared by Minister of Power & Energy, Kanchana Wijesekera, in a statement on social media platform X. According to the Minister's post, Mr. Uvais paid a courtesy call on Tuesday evening (Oct. 03) to bid farewell.
Today (Oct. 04) marks Mr. Uvais's final day in office, as he cited personal and professional commitments as the reasons behind his resignation.
