SINOPEC, a fresh player in the Sri Lankan fuel industry, has made significant changes to the prices of various fuel types effective from 6 pm today (October 1). These revisions will have a direct impact on consumers, both in terms of costs and daily expenditures.
Here are the details of the fuel price adjustments:

Octane 95 Petrol: This fuel type has seen an increase of Rs. 6, bringing the new price to Rs. 420 per liter.

Auto Diesel: The price of auto diesel has surged by Rs. 10, pushing the cost to Rs. 348 per liter.

Super Diesel: Consumers using super diesel will face a substantial hike, with prices rising by Rs. 61. The new price for super diesel is now Rs. 417 per liter.

Octane 92 Petrol: In contrast to the other fuel types, octane 92 petrol remains unchanged at Rs. 358 per liter.
These price revisions by SINOPEC will have various implications for consumers across the country. While the Octane 95 Petrol and Auto Diesel prices have increased, Super Diesel has experienced a more significant surge in cost. Octane 92 Petrol, however, has remained stable with no changes in price.
