Three individuals, including the Chief Security Officer of Monaragala District SJB Parliamentarian W.H.M. Dharmasena, have been arrested while allegedly in possession of approximately 810 grams of cannabis.

The individuals arrested in connection with this case include a Police Sergeant attached to the Ministerial Security Division (MSD), who also serves as the Chief Security Officer for the Monaragala District parliamentarian representing the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) political party.

The two other suspects have not been identified in the released reports.
