Sri Lanka has officially announced its 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. The Sri Lankan team is scheduled to depart the island tonight in preparation for the highly anticipated tournament.
Dasun Shanaka has been named as the captain of the Sri Lankan squad, with Kusal Mendis serving as the Vice Captain. However, the participation of Wanindu Hasaranga, Maheesh Theekshana, and Dilshan Madushanka is subject to their fitness levels.
The rest of the members in the Sri Lankan squad include Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Janith, Dimuth Karunaratna, Charith Asalanka, Dananjaya De Silva, Sadeera Samarawickrama, Dunith Wellalage, Kasun Rajitha, Matheesha Pathirana, and Lahiru Kumara.
