In a shocking turn of events, a local businessman in Galle met a tragic end as he was shot and killed at approximately 8:30 pm near Binge Kanda on Galle Dixon Road. The victim, identified as a resident of Galle Elliot Road, was traveling in his car when two assailants from Nadurana opened fire, resulting in his unfortunate demise.

Following the incident, law enforcement swiftly responded to the scene, securing the area and commencing an investigation into the shooting. The lifeless body of the victim was transported to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital for further examination and procedures.
