Emirates and SriLankan Airlines have entered into a reciprocal interline agreement to make travel more convenient for passengers of both airlines.
In this new partnership, SriLankan Airlines passengers gain access to Emirates' extensive network of destinations through Dubai, while Emirates passengers can do the same for SriLankan Airlines destinations via Colombo.
This arrangement allows travelers to reach new destinations on each other's networks while enjoying the ease of a single ticket and the convenience of having their baggage transferred seamlessly.
Effective immediately, tickets are available for purchase, unlocking 15 regional destinations operated by SriLankan Airlines via Colombo for Emirates passengers to choose from. This includes two new Indian destinations, Madurai and Tiruchirapally, as well as Gan Island in the Maldives, all of which can be reached on a single ticket. The generous baggage policy and hassle-free baggage check-through to the final destination add to the convenience.
The list of Far East and South Asian destinations accessible through this partnership includes Cochin, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Malé, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, Guangzhou, Seoul, and Tokyo.
SriLankan Airlines' passengers will also benefit from the partnership by gaining access to Emirates' global network and connecting to 15 cities operated by Emirates beyond Dubai. These points span the Middle East, Africa, Russia, and the US.
For SriLankan Airlines passengers traveling on Emirates, premium travel experiences await as they journey to destinations like Bahrain, Amman, Dammam, Medina, Cairo, Muscat, Nairobi, Moscow, Tel Aviv, and various US cities, including New York JFK, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, and Houston.
