State Intelligence Service Director Demands Rs. 50 Million Compensation, Denies Easter Sunday Attack Accusations

Major General Suresh Sallay, Director of the State Intelligence Service (SIS), has issued a formal letter of demand to Father Rohan Silva, the Executive Director of the Social and Religious Center (CSR), seeking a compensation of Rs. 50 million. 

This legal action comes amidst escalating tensions surrounding accusations against Sallay in connection with the Easter Sunday attack.

IMajor General Suresh Sallay vehemently refuted the allegations leveled against him, claiming  them as "baseless" and "alarming." He firmly asserted his innocence, categorically rejecting any involvement in the Easter Sunday attack or any form of support for its mastermind, Mohamed Qasim Mohamed Saharan, or his associates.

Sallay's interview aimed to set the record straight regarding the claims made by Father Rohan Silva, who alleged that Sallay had met with Mohamed Qasim Mohamed Saharan. Major General Sallay firmly denied any such meeting and further denied any financial aid or support provided to Mohamed Qasim Mohamed Saharan or any associated individuals or organizations.
