President Wickremesinghe called for a shift away from the conventional opposition-versus-government dynamic, emphasizing the significance of inclusivity.

He encouraged a more balanced and collaborative political atmosphere by incorporating opposition perspectives into decision-making processes.

The President also said measures would be taken to conduct the Provincial Council election soon.
