A 32-year-old Danish tourist woman, who had embarked on a mountain climbing excursion in the Kadugannava area, was reported missing since the 10th of this month. Tragically, authorities have now confirmed the discovery of her lifeless body.

The Kandy Tourism Police initiated immediate investigations into the incident upon receiving the report of the missing tourist. Today, on the 14th, the body of the foreign woman in question was found.

Authorities have begun conducting further investigations to ascertain the cause of her untimely death. The circumstances surrounding her demise remain unclear at this stage.
