New commissioners have been appointed to the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka.

Led by Chairman Justice L.T.B. Dehideniya, the diverse team includes Prof. Thaiyamuthu Thaanaraj, Prof. Fathima Farzana Haniffa, Nimal G. Punchchihewa, and Dr. Gehan Dinuk Gunatilleke.

The commissioners have been appointed by the President with the concurrence of the Constitutional Council. They aim to uphold justice and protect human rights across the country.
