Tension escalated at the main office of the State Engineering Corporation today as employees staged a protest, leading to the arrest of the corporation's chairman within the premises. The move comes in response to the non-payment of a portion of the employees' salaries for the month of June, which has sparked widespread discontent within the organization.

According to an employee witness, the workers of the State Engineering Corporation gathered in front of the chairman's office, surrounding it and preventing him from leaving. They sat on the floor, expressing their frustration and demanding immediate action regarding their unpaid wages.

The decision to detain the chairman was fueled by growing discontentment among the employees who have been facing financial difficulties due to the delayed salary payments. The non-payment of part of the June salary has been cited as the primary reason for this drastic step taken by the workers.
