Manju Nishshanka, the investor of SL Vlog and Leader of the Global Sri Lankan Congress, has been summoned to the Illegal Assets and Property Investigation Unit for the second time today. This summons comes in the wake of the recent arrest of comedian Natasha Edirisooriya over controversial comments made during a stand-up comedy show.

Nishshanka arrived at the Investigation Unit accompanied by his legal team, where he spoke to the media about the situation. "We extend our fullest support to this investigation. However, it has to be said that this is clearly a case of revenge politics," Nishshanka stated, expressing his stance on the matter.

The summoning of Nishshanka follows the arrest of comedian Natasha Edirisooriya, who had allegedly made controversial comments during a recent stand-up comedy performance. The comments made by Edirisooriya had sparked public outrage and prompted legal action against her.
