State Minister Prasanna Ranaweera’s House Attacked: Police Launch Investigation to Apprehend Perpetrators

Sapugaskanda police have reported that a group of individuals attacked and caused damage to the two-storey house owned by Prasanna Ranaweera, a Member of Parliament and State Minister from the Gampaha District. The incident took place at Sarachchandra Dias Mawatha, Gonawila, Pamunuwila.

According to an officer from Sapugaskanda Police, the attack resulted in damage to eight windows of the house.

Fortunately, no one was present at the residence during the time of the incident. In response, the Sapugaskanda police have initiated a thorough investigation to gather information about the perpetrators involved in this attack, with the aim of apprehending them.

To aid their investigation, the police have reviewed the footage captured by the CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity to identify potential suspects.
