In a new revelation, Diana Gamage, a national list member of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya, addressed the Parliament to expose an alleged forgery committed by the party.
Gamage claimed that a false document, bearing her letterhead and forged signature, was submitted to a district court falsely indicating her resignation from the position of Deputy Secretary of the Samagi Jana Balawega.
During her speech, Diana Gamage expressed her outrage and revealed that she had lodged a formal complaint with the secret police to investigate this matter thoroughly. She vowed to unveil the culprits responsible for fabricating the documents and assured the people of the country that she would present compelling evidence to support her claims.
"I have never authorized nor signed a document of this nature. How was a forged document created using my letterhead and name? Who falsely represented me by signing it? This is a grave error and deception. As of today, I am still the legally appointed Deputy Secretary of the Samagi Jana Balawega, and no one has the authority to remove me," declared Gamage, emphasizing her continued position within the party.
