The price of a 12.5 kg cylinder of Litro domestic gas has been reduced by 452 rupees, effective midnight today.
The price of a 5 kg cylinder has also been reduced by 181 rupees, and the price of a 2.3 kg cylinder has been reduced by 83 rupees.
The new prices are as follows:
- 12.5 kg cylinder: Rs. 3,186
- 5 kg cylinder: Rs. 1,281
- 2.3 kg cylinder: Rs. 598
The price reduction is expected to be a relief to many Sri Lankans, who have been struggling with the high cost of living.
