Petroleum Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said four vehicles owned by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation were assigned to the trade union leaders of the CPC and the CPSTL.
The Minister said they were also given an unlimited fuel quota to engage in trade union activities.
He also added that the trade union leaders were given numerous perks and privileges using the public money.
The CPC, however, has now banned 20 trade union leaders from entering the CPC and CPSL premises as they have been sent on compulsory leave for disrupting fuel distribution operations.
Wijesekera said fuel distribution took place across the country as usual.
