Due to a security incident reported last night, the visa application centre for India, IVS Pvt. Ltd, Colombo is to remain closed until further notice. According to reports, a theft has occurred in the premises last night giving rise to this situation. 

 All applicants have been requested to reschedule their appointments with IVS Pvt. Ltd accordingly. For any urgent consular / visa matter members of the public have been asked to contact the High Commission over the phone.
