The owners of Shades Fashions, a clothing chain has been founded mysteriously murdered at a house belonging to him in Thalangama. The body of the businessman, identified as 49-year-old Roshan Wanninayake was found in the pool, the police said.

He had been missing for several days after leaving his shared home with his sister's family in Wellampitiya. The police later found his body at a house in Thalanga which was still under construction. The manner in which he was killed is yet to be ascertained.

However, police have found traces of blood leading to the pool. The victim had been stripped before being dumped in the pool. His wallet and vehicle are also missing. Thalangama Police are carrying out further investigations into the incident.
