The Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijeskara says that it has been decided to remove Janaka Rathnayake, the Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission from the post.

In a special press conference held today, the minister stated that the charge sheet required for that has already been prepared.

The Minister said all parliament members of the ruling party have agreed to the decision. The Minister also accused Janaka Ratnayake of acting arbitrarily in the recent past.
