Attorney at Law Kaushalya Nawaratne has handed over his nominations as the President of the Bar Association.

Isuru Balapatabendi, the incumbent Secretary to the Bar Association, has handed over nominations as the Secretary.

It is reported that there are no other nominations and the official declaration will be done tomorrow.

Accordingluy, Kaushalya Nawaratne is likely to take over as the new President of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) for 2023/2024.
