Educational Qualifications Of Sri Lankan MPs Are Now Available Online: 17 MPs Fail To Provide Their Qualifications

The educational qualifications of Parliamentarians who are currently serving in the Legislature are now available on the Parliament website (www.parliament.lk).

According to the website, 208 MPs have made their educational qualifications available to the public.

However, 17 MPs have failed to submit their educational qualifications.

The details have been declared as per a directive issued by the Right to Information Commission (RTIC).

Sri Lanka has not set minimum educational qualifications to become a Parliamentarian.
