State Minister of Social Empowerment Anupa Pasqual was reportedly told off by South Korea Disaster Relief Foundation (SKDRF) President Cho Sung Lea for arriving 30 minutes late to a meeting. The meeting was held yesterday at the Social Empowerment Ministry to discuss how South Korea could provide assistance to Sri Lanka to overcome its current economic crisis.

According to local daily newspaper the Daily Mirror, the delegate had said getting late is not a good sign, and Ministers must act responsibly. He had said this behaviour would not fly in Korea and would even lead to disciplinary action.
