Wilpattu has become the first national park in Sri Lanka to get its own App. The app will guide visitors through the park. The App has been funded by the Government of Germany through a project worth Euro 8 Million and implemented by the GIZ.

Further to this, the project improves the park’s attractiveness & accessibility (state-of-the-art visitor centres, new bridges, and warden facilities) and enables communities in the park‘s influence zone to increase their income.
