An IT worker in a local digital agency has taken his life. In a handwritten suicide note, the worker identified as Mihiran Chathuranga had said he was taking his life due to high work pressure. In it the victim said he attempted to resign from the company four times due to some problems faced but failed to find anyone in the company willing to listen to his needs.

The deceased a DevOps Engineer at the company was a graduate of IT from the University of Moratuwa.
