The Hatton Police recently conducted a program where free motorcycle helmets were given to schoolchildren in the area. The initiative was carried out by the Traffic Police division of the Hatton police.

Children observed coming to school in motorcycles were chosen and provided with helmets after a surveillance operation was carried out on 23 November in the town. The helmets had been provided with the sponsorship of a private insurance company at the request of the OIC.
