The Western Province Education Department has commenced an inquiry against the teachers who were recently seen dancing along with students to the song ‘Madyapana Beema Joliya’ at a school event. The incident had taken place in a junior school belonging to the Negombo Education Zone. 

The department head Srilal Nonis said such behaviour is unacceptable and therefore an inquiry has now commenced against the teachers seen in the video.
