A group of leaders representing the World Conference of Religions for Peace recently visited Sri Lanka and held discussions with its Sri Lankan counterpart, the Sri Lanka Council of Religions for Peace on securing humanitarian assistance for Sri Lanka.

The meeting was attended by the General Secretary of Sri Lanka Centre of Religious for Peace, Senior Professor Ven. Medawachchiye Dhammajothi Theta and several other members of the organization.

SLCRP is a multi-religious coalition consisting of eminent religious leaders of all major religions in Sri Lanka.
