An official of the Bandaranaike International Airport confirmed that former minister Basil Rajapaksa left Sri Lanka heading for Dubai this morning (09) on his way to the US.

He had left for Dubai on Emirates flight EK-651 from Colombo at 10.05 am. He is to board another flight from Dubai to the US.
