The Army has asked public to help trace person 'dressed in uniform similar to that of the Army,' watching while mobs were in action in the Thummodara area.

Issuing a statement, the Army said if person in question is a member of the Army, necessary disciplinary action will be taken with immediate effect.

Colombo Telegraph yesterday published a footage video saying that members of the Security Forces of Sri Lanka in cahoots with those who have perpetrated.

The footage has drawn ire from many quarters, including activists and civil society members.
