A Dubai court decided to postpone the decision on the deportation of Makandure Madush to May 09.

Madush, an underworld kingpin. was arrested in February this year when the country's Police raided a party at a luxury hotel in Dubai.

He earlier filed an appeal in Dubai against the country's move to deport him to Dubai.

Multiple media reports earlier claimed that the ruling on Madush's appeal would be delivered on today. 

However, many people who were arrested with Madush in Dubai, including singer Amal Perera, have been deported to Sri Lanka.
