The Government Analyst has confirmed that six of eight terrorist attacks that took place in Sri Lanka yesterday are suicide explosions. 

According to the Government Analyst, three explosions that took place in three churches and three five-star hotels in Colombo are suicide attacks. 

In addition to the six suicide attacks, two explosions also took place in Dehiwala and Dematagoda last evening. 

An explosion took place within a housing scheme in Dematagoda when the Police attempted to arrest some suspects in connection with the attacks.

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is currently interrogating 24 suspects over the explosions that rocked Sri Lanka on Sunday (21).
