President Maithripala Sirisena has not included any minister as part of his delegation for the four-day visit to Singapore.
Sources close to the President said only officials would accompany the President during the tour.
During the visit, President Sirisena will attend and deliver a keynote speech at the Third Forum of Ministers and Environment Authorities of Asia Pacific, organised by the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources and the UN Environment.
Sirisena only returned from a five-day tour in the Philippines, a few days ago.
Sirisena came under criticism from the UNP for taking a group of SLFP MPs as his delegation to the Philippines.
