The 12-member committee appointed by President Maithripala Sirisena to submit recommendations on resurrecting SriLankan Airlines presented its report to President Maithripala Sirisena. 

State Minister Eran Wickramaratne was appointed to chair the Committee while non-cabinet Minister Dr. Harsha de Silva, Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe, Dr. Dharmarathna Herath, Prof. DBPH Disa Bandara, V. Kanagasabhapathi, LSI Jayaratne, Viraj Dayaratne, Mahen Gopallawa, Wasantha Kumarasiri, Ajith Amarasekara and Ms. Thisuri Wanniarachchi served as its members. 

Dr. Harsha de Silva tweeted yesterday that the committee wrapped up its work on schedule. 

It has engaged with a number of statkeholders and professionals to gather proposals on resurrecting the cash-strapped national airline.
