A group of ITN employees have staged a protest within the office premises against the new management of the channel. 

Finance and Media Minister Mangala Samaraweera appointed Thilaka Jayasundara the chairperson of ITN last week. 

The protestors are supporters of a union affiliated with the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.

They had protested against the appointments of several members of the pre-October 26 management of the state TV station.
