President Maithripala Sirisena is likely to issue another Gazette notification assigning subjects to non-Cabinet ministers, government sources said. 

UNP MPs Harsha de Silva, Ajith P Perera and Sujeewa Senasinghe have been appointed non-Cabinet ministers by President Sirisena.

Several state sector institutions, including Sri Lanka Telecom, SriLankan Airlines and Waters Edge, have not been included in the first Gazette issued by the President on Saturday. 

Some of the "ungazetted" institutions will come under the non-cabinet ministers, Asian Mirror learns. 

President Sirisena, who was in Thailand on holiday, is expected to return to the country today.
