The Gazette notification relating to the subject allocations to ministry did not include several critical state institutions such as SriLanka Airlines, Waters Edge and Sri Lanka Telecom. 

Although Asian Mirror contacted several senior spokespersons of the government, they failed to explain why the three institutions have not been included in the Gazette. 

They said the matter should be checked with the President's Office. Our attempts to get a comment from the President's Office on the non-inclusion of ministries proved to be futile. 

SriLankan Airlines previously came under the Ministry of State Enterprise Development while Sri Lanka Telecom came under the Ministry of Telecommunication and Digital Infrastructure.
