The United National Party will present a confidence motion in support of ousted Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe this morning. 

UNP Deputy Leader Sajith Premadasa will present the motion in support of Wickremesinghe. 

"We will once again demonstrate our parliamentary majority today, " the UNP tweeted, a short while ago. 

The UPFA made a decision last night to boycott the parliamentary sessions today as well. 

The UNP said Wickremesinghe already had the support of 117 Parliamentarians minus the JVP.
