The United National Party will stage a massive demonstration at Galle Face Green on December 13 demanding the reappointment of Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Prime Minister of the country. 

The protest will take place in the vicinity of the Presidential Secretariat, the office of President Maithripala Sirisena. 

Speaking to Asian Mirror, a senior UNP spokesman said the protest would be the biggest political rally Sri Lanka has ever seen. 

The UNP will stage the protest a day after a confidence vote in Parliament in support of UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe. 

The spokesperson said Wickremesinghe would once again demonstrate his parliamentary majority on December 12.
