Court of Appeal will pronounce the order on the Writ of Quo Warranto filed by 122 MPs challenging purported government's continuation in office, today at 5 PM.
Presidents Counsel K. Kanag-Iswaran appeared for the 122 MPs who filed the Writ of Quo Warranto against former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and the purported government led by him.
The case was taken up Friday before the two-judge bench of Justices Preethi Padman Surasena and Arjuna Obeysekara. The petition has named 49 respondents including Mahinda Rajapaksa.
Both parties of the petitioners and the respondents made submissions until about 5:30 this evening and the court decided to hear the petition again on Monday.
