UNP Parliamentarian Patali Champika Ranawaka presented the motion seeking to cut off budgetray allocations to all Cabinet ministers, state and deputy ministers of the purported government, a short while ago. 

The motion was presented to the Speaker of Parliament, last week, and was included in the order paper. 

Parliament will take a vote on the motion later today. The motion has been presented to the House exercising Parliament's powers on handling all affairs relating to public finance, according to Article 148 of the Constitution. 

A similar motion seeking to cut off budgetary allocations to the Prime Minister's Office was put to vote in Parliament yesterday and passed with the support of 123 MPs.
