In another U-turn, MP Wasantha Senanayake visited Temple Trees today, to attend the group meeting chaired by UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe. 

This was Senanayake's 6th crossover since the outbreak of the political crisis. 

Last week, he attended a Cabinet meeting chaired by President Maithripala Sirisena, despite his earlier claim to resign from his ministerial portfolio. 

Senanayake, however, did not sign an affidavit to support Ranil Wickremesinghe nor did he sign the no-confidence motion against former President Mahinda Rajapaksa. 

It is still not clear whether Senanayake has resigned from his ministerial portfolio of the purported government.
