President Maithripala Sirisena has called TNA Leader R. Samantha and his parliamentary group for a meeting, Asian Mirror learns.
The meeting , the TNA said, will take place this evening or tomorrow.
Party sources said the TNA's position over the no confidence motion would remain unchanged, despite the meeting with the President.
A TNA Parliamentarian said the party believed that former President Mahinda Rajapaksa had lost the confidence of the House, twice.
"We will convey our position to the President at the meeting, " he said.
TNA also took part in a meeting with the President earlier this week, along with other party leaders who supported the no confidence motion against Rajapaksa .
